Can God Heal Autism?

This Devotion was inspired by Hillsong’s Healer. Click the link to see it on Youtube.

My son has autism. What does that mean? It means he has a cluster of developmental delays that make him less functional in society without someone’s help.

It started out as a language delay. We didn’t panic at first becauscommunicatione this type of delay ran on both sides of our family. Those members who’d suffered it were currently either financially well off or verbally advanced, so we waited for my son to do the same. His physical delays were less apparent. They ebbed and flowed with each test. Sometimes on target, sometimes behind. His social-skills remained above age level.

We’d hoped the language would fill in one day as it had for others we’d known. But it didn’t. So, I looked into therapies and treatments and supplements to make him well. And I prayed. No, this is not one of stormsthose stories where I came to God as a last resort. We were together on this one from the beginning. He kept me calm through the storms, though some of the storms were of my own making.

But what does one pray for as the mother of an autistic boy? The right assistance? The right therapy to fix him? Or out-and-out healing? Which prayer demonstrates the appropriate level of faith (you know, moving mountains and all that) and which prayer embodies humility, understanding the sovereignty of God’s will (His grace being sufficient)?

I still don’t have the answer to that question so I pray them all. God is BIG! Did you know that? He’s huge. And powerful! So I didn’t think it a bad thing to pray my son be healed. But it seems others did. When I asked them to pray for healing, they’d look at me with pity in their eyes as though they believed my faith hinged on the discontinuation of his diagnosis. It made me sad. Sad they thought so little of me and worse they thought so little of God.

I had an acquaintance whose non-verbal eleven-year-old began to speak after 6 weeks of treatment with a research doctor. I prayermet her the week I’d been fasting and praying for answers. But what made her story amazing is that she also had a team of people covering her son in prayer every day of that treatment. We now go to this same doctor and have gotten great benefit from the treatment, just not like hers. I could never find a group of people willing to pray big things. They worried more about me than they did my son. Sigh!

Don’t get me wrong. I am not of the name-it and claim-it church. God doesn’t always give us exactly what we want, when we want it. Though Paul healed many, he writes of those who remained sick. He, himself, carried a thorn that was a reminder of God’s beautiful Grace. All, but one, apostle was martyred for Christ. Sometimes bad things happen and God shows His greatness in spite of, or even because of, those things. God has blessed me in so many ways through the gentle gift of my beautiful boy. This young man shows love and concern like no other without uttering a word. Truly living his gift rather than just speaking it. He’s grown my daughter in enormous ways that she’d never have known had she had a “normal” brother. He brings me peace with just a gentle touch of his fingers. I am blessed.

One of the words my son can say is “pray.” And he knows when to say it. He is the one to remind me to seek my Creator in time of need. He’s recently begun to say it often throughout the day. So I do. I pray for his healing. Not because I think God WILL heal my son, but because I KNOW He CAN. It is my testament of faith in His power. And still, I know He is not only omnipotent, but omniscient. He knows what is best for me and my son’s ministry for His Glory. He has a better plan than I can even imagine, and it just may include autism.

I submit to that plan.

 He is Good!

Mark 9:14-29

Oh, and if you are so inclined, feel free to pray for my son. I won’t mind :o)!!! Let me know and I will return the favor—Comment below.

  1. Connie, you're a beautiful, loving mom for wanting the best for you son. I was so touched that out of all the words in the human language that your son can say the word pray. I will be praying for him, and for you. May His love continue to reach your son, and may your son's love continue to reach out to you and others.

  2. Thank you so much, Elaine. It is amazing that "pray" is among his few words. If this were his only gift (which it surely is not) it would have infinite impact. Too many see those with special needs as having somehow less value than those who have high IQs. But you can probably guess, I do not. Some seemingly small things have great result. Prayer is one of those things!!! And my son is all over that.

    2. Your story is touching and I can relate, having a five year old dxed when he was two and a half. I encourage you to continue to seek out people who are BIG in their faith. We can always use prayer covering and the prayer of righteous people avails much. Sometimes I think autism is a gift to help us become better people, learning things about human beings and the world around us that we may not have otherwise known. My husband and I are on the spectrum, but our son has more challenges then we had growing up. I KNOW God WILL heal our son; each day he improves but I also got people praying for me who believe that his healing is possible. Those who do not, we pray for them to have greater faith. So sad when we make God too small! Bless your Spirit!

    1. Thank you, Aaron. I just spent an hour listening to these. I’d encourage others to do the same—especially part two. The meat of the issue, as with what we are talking about in this post, is that prayer is FIRST about fellowship with Him—Amen! And that covers over everything else. Really!!! Additionally, He always answers in the affirmative when what we ask is GOOD in His loving and omniscient Will. Through my prayers on this issue, I’ve found both very true!

  6. I love your piece and I am praying for you. We have a beautiful son, he is 2yrs 9 months, he has symptoms of Autism, but I believe that God is at work to rid his system of every trace of autism. I strongly believe that God's will is healing and that it is the devil that sits at the root of sickness. Jesus healed so many because He has compassion for sick people. the question is, if I took my son to Jesus, will He heal him? I believe He will. I believe God heals today and He wants to heal more. I pray that we all find healing for our kids and for ourselves

  7. God sent to me an angel,
    it had a broken wing.
I bent my head and wondered
“How could God do such a thing?”
    When I asked the Father
why He sent this child to me,
    the answer was forthcoming,
He said “Listen and you’ll see.”
    “My children are all precious,
and none is like the rest.
Each one to me is special,
and the least is as the best.
I send each one from Heaven
and I place it in the care
of those who know my mercy,
    those with love to spare.
Sometimes I take them back again.
    Sometimes I let them stay.
    No matter what may happen
    I am never far away.
So if you find an angel
and you don’t know what to do,
    remember, I am with you,
love is all I ask of you.”

    1. Hi.
I know sometimes it feels like God is not there when we’re struggling. I know I’ve felt that way many times in my life. That’s why my favorite verse in the Bible is Psalm 77:3 “I remembered You, O God, and I groaned.” I found solace in the idea that a Psalmist charged with the writing of God’s Words also wanted to forget Him, but in the end, remained true. Maybe the same can happen for me as well. Don’t know if that sounds crazy, but it’s how I think.
When we experience hard times, we are always tempted to walk away from Him because He isn’t doing what we want. But these are the times we need Him MOST. He is our refuge and strength. He is the shoulder to cry on. He’s the ear to listen. He knows us better than anyone else and loves us in spite of all He knows. Cry out to Him as the Psalmists do. Let Him be the shepherd who leads you to quiet waters and restores your soul (Psalm 23). His power is made perfect in our weaknesses.
I will pray for you and your family. May you see glimpses of God in your life today.
If you’d like to tell me about your brother, feel free to email me. It’s in the “contact me” tab. I’d love to hear more.

  12. I found this prayer on the internet: "Dear Father, forgive me and my nation for our sins. We have failed to look to You for help with this disorder called autism. Forgive us. I pray that You will lead us to find a cure for autism. Lord, You made us, You know each cell of our body, You know where autism originates, You know what goes wrong in people with autism, You know what will cure this disorder. Lord I pray for a miraculous cure for all children with autism. Please give families strength to deal with autism. Give them wisdom and help them find people who will truly help them and not take advantage of them. Lord, I pray also that You would lead researchers to find a cure for autism. Help the researchers to be humble, to seek You, to understand the connections between the physical, biological, chemical, and immunological findings in autism research. Open their eyes to find new connections and help parents to share their own discoveries and findings. Let there be a new cooperation among the researchers that will lead to a true cure for all autism. I give You the glory for this cure. Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Thank You, Lord, for having mercy on the thousands of children with autism. I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior. Amen." ~GJH~

    1. This video talks about the autism debate and what causes it. Very controversial, but needs to be looked at with fresh, unbiased eyes. I’ve read much on this debate and do not feel I have any one answer. In fact, I don’t think there is any ONE answer. My own belief is that each kid has a combination of factors that have caused it and no one child is impacted by the same exact combination. That’s what makes it so hard to pin it down in research. However, much needs to be looked into and we need to be careful not to assume that just because one doctor has ruled something out that it can’t be implicated. Much prayer and research needs to be done!!! Thank you for sharing this link. My son’s doctor is in this video.

  15. Dear Carol,

Just read your post. And You are correct God is bigger than Autism, Thank you for believing in God

I have been having a lot of success in healing, and I want to share with you my findings. Here are the scriptures that I am basing it on.

    Mark 16:17-18
These signs will follow those who believe, in my name they will cast out demons.….they will lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
This is Jesus tell us what to do before he went back to heaven.
Those WHO BELIEVE. If you believe in Jesus, this is YOU.
In JESUS name, YOU will lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover
    Matt 10:7-8
As you go proclaim this message , The kingdom of heaven has come near, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons….
    Luke 10:9
Heal the sick who are there and tell them “The Kingdom of God has come near to you”
If you read the bible, apart from James 5:15-16. There is no where in the bible that tells you to “pray for the sick”. It tells us to “heal the sick.”

So instead of praying to the Father for healing, God has already provided that authority to you in the name of Jesus. It is God’s will that you go out and administer the healing. God is our father, and it clearly says, an earthly father will not give the child a snake when he ask for fish. Ask yourself, as a parent would you want to see your kid showing symptoms of autism? NO! then neither does the father in heaven!

Autism, like Cancer is the works of the devil John 10:10, its purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus came to give life, and life abundantly.

It is very simple. This is what you do.
You speak to the problem (Autism), think of it as a demon, . And you command it to do what you want it to do. Which is leave. You say this in Jesus name. And you will see changes. The key is you believe God’s word, word for word. And you are meaning what you say, and you have a focused intention when you talk to autism, when you are commanding it. Settle it in your mind. God,s word says, Believers in Jesus name will cast out demons, heal the sick with the laying on of hands. And hence it will happen. If the Problem is fighting it. You just keep at it. It has to go. Autism knows it, the body knows it. They all know who Jesus is.

So, you take your son, and you say in faith that what you say will happen, and you do it with expectation because God’s word is true.
In Jesus name, Autism I command you to let go of (your son), I command you to Leave now in Jesus name! Check for things that he was not able to do before, and ask him to do it. And then keep commanding Autism to go.

So Carol, let me know how it goes, As you see the changes, you will have more faith that God is not a God of talks, he follows through on his words. I have other scriptures and materials that can help you understand, and hence bring the healing that God wants on his children. Healing is in the atonement, like Salvation, God wants to co-labor with us to bring the good news to the world.

  19. Albert I wanted to share with you that last night, I did what you recommended; I order autism out of my son in the name of Jesus Christ. This morning, my son woke up crying, he had not done that in a while. The first thing that came to my mind was spiritual warfare. So I laid my hand on my son, and commanded autism to leave my son's body. He finally calms down and was relaxed. Today was the first time ever that he plays with me, tossing the ball, back and forth for about 5 minutes. I know, what you said is true. God (Jesus Christ) is curing my son right before my eyes. Thank you for sharing that with us. And thank you God (Jesus Christ) for your love.

  20. The family next door has a boy whom I believe may have autism. For the past 2.5 years I thought he was just unruly (poor parenting), but recently & quite out of the blue, it occurred to me his behavior may be caused by a disorder - such as autism. He screams constantly (like an animal) and grunts... Not many verbalized words.

Thanks for posting your thoughts here. I will start praying for both the boy and his family. They are Indian - so I'm not sure how to go about (a) inquiring about whether the boy has autism and (b) laying hands on the boy in prayer. I'll start on my own & see what happens.

    1. I used to work in daycare and wondered about the parenting of some of my students. I look back now and realize many of these kids had something else going on, ADD or Autistic Spectrum. My son is a very sweet boy despite the autism. But certain types of illnesses will change him dramatically! He will become aggressive and scream. Very unusual for him, but I know he is in deep distress when it happens. I think most of those who have outbursts are probably in horrible, chronic pain. Yes, pray for them. You wouldn't want to live like that!!!

    1. I don't know the plan God has for you or your boy. I know if you seek the Lord in this time He will be with you. I believe God can heal autism, but I also believe His goals and ours are not the same. Sometimes He may have a plan and autism may be part of it. Seek Him and walk with Him one step at a time. My son is usually very mellow, but last summer he became very aggressive--throwing things and the like. When he got like this I always held his limbs and prayed, and it always made a difference. My son LOVES when I pray with him. I feel God has used these times to draw me nearer to Him, and I am thankful. I also believe my son's outbursts were (and are) a result of a chronic infection his body can't fight completely alone. I have since used natural anti-microbials to manage these and the outbursts have dramatically diminished. Still, I pray for (and about) total healing. I will pray for your son as well!!!

  27. Prayer for Autism taken from "Healing the Whole Man Handbook" by Joan Hunter

    1. Gently and with a quiet attitude, hold the person if possible.
    2. Speaking softly but firmly, command the spirit of autism to go in Jesus name.
    3. Lay on hands and command a new brain and the total restoration of the nervous system.
    4. Speak the peace of God into their heart and soul.

Father God, we declare that by Jesus' stripes, we have been healed. We command the spirit of autism to go in Jesus' name from those who have autism here. We command a new brain and the total restoration of the nervous system, and the magnetic and chemical frequencies in the brain and body to come into normal balance in Jesus' name. We bind and cast out the spirit of fear and trauma from their hearts and we speak peace, healing, life and wholeness into their heart and soul in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. - Hannah Lim

  29. Dear parents,

I want to share two testimonies to encourage all of You to believe in Jesus and that He who healed when He was on earth 2,000 years ago is still the same Saviour and Healer today.

    Testimony #1
My pastor's son, Samuel, had autism and dyslexia. He couldn't even talk, screamed and could not sit still when he was young. His parents kept on praying for him and believing in Jesus for His healing.

By God's grace and healing power, he was healed and he will be going to university soon to study civil engineering! Now he prays for healing for the special needs children in my church.

    Testimony #2
There is this child in church who didn't speak since young and his mum has given up hope. About a few weeks ago during worship, he suddenly said "Praise the Lord!"

    Isn't Jesus wonderful?

I would like to encourage you to let your children listen to the audio Bible throughout the day, even when they sleep, so that their spirit could be fed by God's Word which is life and light to them. You can download a free children's audio Bible from this link:-

I also believe she is a much more appreciative and mature young woman because of it. They've always adored each other. I am very grateful for that!!!

  34. I have Asperger syndrome which has not been discovered until a few years ago. Even though it is the mildest form of the autism spectrum, this type of handicap is severe enough to cause me all the troubles and sufferings in life. I finally found a cure of this condition through faith and by God's miracle.

Two months ago, I was informed by a psychologist at the children hospital in the area that my son is in the autistic spectrum. I am treating my son based on what I have learned from the internet and prayers. Within 2 months, he made huge changes.

Hope that one day, I will be able to share with you the story of an autistic mom who raises an autistic kid.

  35. Hi Connie,

I am now so busy with my two kids that I cannot find time to share my stores given my limited language skills in English.

However, I can quickly share my strategies about how to guide an autistic child.

First of all, we need to take off any VIDEO GAME / IPAD. Educational games or video movies also need to be limited. Even when the kid play educational games or watch video movies, the parent should sit beside him / her and interact with him / her through explainations / gestures. Apparently, video games / Ipad do not cause autism because there are kids exhibiting autistic behaviors before the age at which they can watch TV, play video games or use Ipad. The main purpose of various autism treatment methodologies is to pull the child out of his / her own world. However, TV / games / Ipad do contribute to the reinforcement of autistic behaviors by letting the child sink further into himself / herself.

Secondly, Do not reply on the efforts of our own or professionals to treat our child's autism. Let Jesus be our Master, our Lead because He is the only best.
Every moment in our life, leave in His hand all the treatment plans for our child, his / her improvement / regression. In Jesus, we trust that God will either help us in the healing process of our child, or if He has a reason not to do so, He will provide us and our kid with strength and endurance to overcome any obstacles in life caused by autism.

That's all I am doing now. I feel happy, peaceful and thankful for God everyday in my life. He helps me to realize that my autistic son is a great gift from Heaven.

  36. Everyone has their own method of how they deal with their child's autism, but I think we all agree that Jesus should be at the top of our list when we are seeking help for any of life's problems including autism. Lord, knows that I have tried things such as therapy, vitamins, antimicrobials, Epsom salt baths, you name it, I have probably tried it, but I will always put God first. Let's seek God first, and we surely will see what he will do for our precious children who have autism. I touch, and agree with all parents on here seeking healing for our children. Please be encouraged. Know that God is up to something he hear our prayers, and the day will come when we see that our prayers were heard. Thank you Connie for having this blog it has really, and truly been inspirational, encouraging. I know there have been days where I felt so isolated, and hopeless dealing with my son Rashad autism, and I would get on here, and read the encouraging words that would get me out the dumps, and I started to apply the words of Jesus to my situation, and things started to become clearer. Don't get me wrong I still have rough days, but God is seeing me through them, and he allowed me to come across this blog, and be encouraged by all you wonderful praying parents, and for that I am truly grateful. So please pray for my son Rashad, and I will continue to pray for all you guys children as well. Be blessed all of you. Thanks again Connie. Bridgette

  38. Oh, Connie, I was moved to tears by this beautiful testimony of faith in our God. I pray that your son will be healed. I have an autistic son who also has said to me "PRAY". He has so few words, this was an amazing gift to me. I was blessed to hear that your son has said this as well! God desires for us to pray for our children, because they are precious to Him. They are gifts from God. And we know that nothing is impossible with God, because Christ Himself said so. Do not lose hope. Keep praying. Our sons will be healed, and if it takes until they get to Heaven, we can rest knowing that God is in control and has a purpose for everything. My son's autism has been an indirect cause of some people coming to Christ. Thank you so much for sharing!

    1. "Pray" is such a powerful word! It is that moment when we are in communication with our Creator, engaging in relationship with Him. If that is my son's gift, to remind me of that relationship, to dial the Big Guy's number for me, I am truly blessed. I suspect you are too. I believe your son has brought people to Christ. I have a blog post "Such As These" on this site that talks about how God used a Mentally Challenged (and I believe non-verbal) man to bring his family to Christ. No matter what we believe, God knows what He's doing. I just LOVE that!!!

    1. I love how your daughter puts her hands in the air at praise and worship. Mirroring behavior tends to be hard for autistic children. My son did not mirror right away, but would imitate long strings of activities later in the day. Your daughter sounds like she is doing more than mirroring surroundings, but likely receiving the Holy Spirit during worship. Many "normal" people do not experience that. It is a gift, and God WILL use that. I sometimes wonder that some of our kids see the Holy Spirit MORE because they are unencumbered by the worldly things we think are important. I pray for God's healing, for God's revelations, our discernment through the difficult times and the ability to see His blessings throughout. Always believe He is a Good and Mighty God!

  42. Dear Connie, I believe you! You are right that Jesus can heal and WANT TO heal autism from his children. I have also a child with autism, he is now almost 6. From time to time God would give me dreams, telling me the insight of what's going on with him. One thing I know for sure is that Autism is not from God, so don't be deceived to accept it. These children are being harrassed in their brain and need to be set free into freedom. I'm still asking the Lord how to do this. I have seen a progression of his condition spiritually, but I haven't taken him out yet into the freedom God has ready for him. But I believe He will show me soon and when we have that freedom, I will surely share with you all. Love, and keep on believing. Mary

Thank you for writing this post...just came across it today. I was not diagnosed with autism until I was almost 35. I am 42 now yet in the last six years I have been healed of so much! Some people, in their comments here, wrote of their concern regarding the respective ages of their children, but God puts no limits on healing when it comes to age. He is always at work. He desires for the captive ones to go free no matter how old they are. Blessings to you.

  46. I've a son who has autism. He is 13. I have faith in God's power to be able to heal my son but I am left frustrated on the point almost of giving up as I prayed day and night for him but there seemingly have not much effect. I can pray for the sick as I have joined our prayer group for almost 10 years and our leader also conduct mass-healing and is a very special man who had conducted many miraculous healing which include a cancer case. I also seek his prayer a few times. I used to lay hands on people when they are sick, they are healed through the Holy Spirit but I failed to find a break-through in prayers for my son although I must accept there are little signs of improvements in his behavior as he is less violent and less picky on food. Maybe God would only heal in His own time not ours, or it could be a curse from God due to my ancestors as I am a converted Christian. Sometimes I feel I have to accept him and no prayers can heal him for it is the Will of God and we have to accept that. But after reading the testimonies of miraculous cure through prayer I would like to seek anyone's advice or opinion on where I have gone wrong in seeking Gods help.

    1. As I often feel the need to mention, I am no theologian. Therefore, my thoughts or advice should never be considered “gospel.” However, there are a few things I feel the need to respond to. First, please do not consider this a curse from God for someone else’s past sin. Even if it were a product of the past, it’s most important to view it as something God will use to His glory (Romans 8:28). Second, I wonder if Joseph, in the midst of being enslaved or while rotting in prison, asked God where he (Joseph) went wrong. From the accounts in the Bible, he was enslaved and imprisoned for doing the RIGHT thing. And still he trusted God would get Him through. We, who have read his story, also know God had a plan from the very beginning and those awful moments in his life were part of that plan. Joseph’s torment spanned decades. My son is now 16, and still carries the label autistic. I love him dearly and hope one day we can share things we are not able to share today. God has not given this to me—yet, and I still have faith that He knows what He’s doing. He’s shown me that in other ways. How often I’ve been mad for not getting what I wanted when I wanted it, only to say “Oh, THAT’s what was happening,” when all was said and done. I KNOW I will say that with my son one day. I pray this for you!!! I pray not only for the healing of your son, but the healing of your heart. What God values is not the same as what the world values. Pray to know what God wants and value that because you know His wisdom is greater—perfect. I rest in that and know that He is good!

  47. Hi Connie. It was so nice to find your post this morning (although I'm sure the Lord guided me here). I have a nearly 9yo daughter with autism who we have been working with for about 4 years with various treatments. The blessing is clear because thanks to our early food interventions, we discovered our other daughter with Down is dairy intolerant. So many improvements came for both girls but mostly in the strength of my own faith and dependence on Christ. Recently God put it on my heart to pray for healing for both children in terms of their ailments and disabilities. I've always been afraid that that would lead me to more pain if they did not heal, even though I know that is not true. Your post has helped me understand why God wants this even if He does not 100% heal them. I confess the older they get, the harder it is to be hopeful. Thank you for writing a scripturally sound post. It has helped me a great deal today. I will pray for your son too.

    1. Wow, you echoed many of my thoughts, feelings and experiences. We also have found benefit from dietary interventions and the interventions used on my son helped my daughter who suffered from other chronic issues when she was very young. She is not special needs, but these interventions were critical in her early years. I believe God put these two children in the same family for a reason. They will help each other!!! You also touch on the truth of how hopefulness can wane as time passes. I think even the great ones in the Bible struggled with faith in those “wait on the Lord” moments. We are only human :o). I struggle with doubt regularly, and then, like many psalmists, I am reminded of God’s wisdom, God’s goodness and God’s timing. So I am able to plug through another day and trust. I pray God will show Himself in BIG ways today. Just a reminder of who He is. Thank you for your prayer as well.

  54. I believe that God is able to exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever think or imagine! His word says so! He is WELL ABLE! I am standing with all those who seek healing for Autism! He did not create disease and disorder, we are born into an evil and sinful world caused by the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. if we lived where there were no sickness, evil, death, etc. we would find strength in ourselves and not put our trust in Him. He allows things to come against us so we will turn to him and keep our hand is his. I work with special needs children at school. I have a burden for them to see them healed. My own brother is 35 and has been lame since he was 3 months old. My mother has held on to God for all these years to see him healed. Some might say she is crazy but I know what the Lord has spoken to her over the years. She and I believe he will be healed in God's perfect timing as well as the others listed here...

  58. Hi, Connie this is Bridgette it has been awhile since I posted, but my prayers have been continual for my son Rashad, and you guys children who also have autism. My plate has been full my husband had to have open heart surgery, he lost his job a week before heart surgery, just trying to get support with daycare for my son while I was @ the hospital w/ my husband was a job in itself.... trying to explain his quirks, and tendencies it all was overwhelming, but Gods grace is merciful. My husband (Lee) surgery was successful. Rashad missed him terribly, but had great behavior for his care givers. That was 6 months ago. I speak about all of this just to encourage those who are going through hard times, that there is nothing God won't see you through. For 6 months we had very little income due to lost of job, and health. Car payment was late God laid it on someones heart, and they paid our car note off brought us the keys, and a week later our car title was mailed to us. Our bills (lights, water) were also taken care of by someone God touched heart. We had food brought for our family every week, so it is true never seen the righteous forsaken or seed begging bread. My husband was hired last month at a company, and we are getting back on our feet. Glory be to God. He is worthy to be PRAISED!!!!!!! Bridgette

But I know that if Jesus was here on earth I would go to him no matter where ever he is and I know for a fact he would heal my son totally and completely and would not turn his back to me. I know Jesus is still alive because he rose from the dead but he always said to believe to see the glory of God. I am still trying to gather that kind of belief so that I would see the glory of God. I know that God did a miracle for Jacob Barnett an autistic boy who became a child prodigy. I just want to forget the world and what the world says to me and just believe so the a miracle would happen to my son. If he can heal Jacob and gift him above the average so can he for our sons if only we believe in him.

Last year was a VERY DIFFICULT year for us, especially on the heals of the release of my novel which had a character inspired by my son (Flee from Evil). And yet this year, some abilities he'd lost have been restored. Through it all I've had to rely on God for everything, and He has always been there to get me through. I still pray for healing. And I still believe it is possible.

  64. Connie, I haven't heard anyone speak like you have on this subject like that. I feel this exactly, every word you spoke about how to pray and what you pray, and you pray them all. Wow. This is my deepest hearts cry and prayer....but I trust Him with my sons life and whatever His purpose is for him, for us....whichever way it lives out to bring Him glory, then that is what I want too. My son is 9 years old....he has non-verbal autism as well. He doesn't speak any clear words....hes tried before, but it is a struggle. He is so restless so much of the day....he doesn't eat but occasional kettle brand chips and almond milk and juices. He is not potty trained and its been such a long hard road...he was diagnosed at 18 months old....and we have done our very best with therapies and supplements etc. all the while praying for a miracle. His name is Asa (like King Asa) meaning doctor, healer. This boy is a precious, sweet, loving and generally calm little boy. There are many times I look in his face and see him hurting and desperately wanting to communicate with us. I want to hear his voice....whether through writing, typing or speaking...ANY way. I would love nothing more than to hear what he feels and what he likes and dislikes....on some days it seems like something more than I can bare. But, I simply know that it isn't only mine to bare but that God is with me and has been every day, every second...and He will never leave me. I have a loving husband and 4 other children....we will pray for your son....we will believe together for his healing...for his strength and understanding as well. Thank you for writing this....it has touched my heart today and I will be thinking about you and your family in my prayers. God Bless you. -Jolie Gilchrist (Fort Worth, Tx)

  65. We have prayed too... to no avail, to no Lessing of his symptoms, to no answers. Those that would say that a loving God would let these precious souls suffer like they do is beyond me? I have faith in Christ but call things as they are. To constantly see my son stuck in someone else's body is beyond me! if autism is if anything, to make you draw closer to God then why doesn't he show who I believe he is by healing these little individuals! The constant suffering and tantrums and crying out and not being understood is not of God but the devil! So if you are a bible believing Christian and believe in the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead then why won't this same power be used to heal this evil affliction? I hear of these healings and that children are healed from autism but what about the hundreds of thousands that are not? I guess my faith is not strong enough or God wants my wife and me to suffer to the point of the sickness it has brought onto our health and marriage! So if God wants us to go through living hell day after day then so be it! I will continue to pray and wait for his healing but until then there is nothing to do but have our hearts and marriage broken! Christians need to call autism what it is!!!! Demonic and opression from the enemy! Keep up the good fight if you can to those who know exactly what I am saying and have loved it

We tried all several treatments and therapy prescribed by various doctors we met but to no avail, she lost total concentration and always complain of sensitivity to sound . She usually tells me she haves poor eyes contact. This were steady disorder that disrupted her entire life, even at night she slept less because of this.It was during a casual conversation with a friend that i learned about Dr Williams herbal medicine I was able to contact him on his email address. and give him all the necessary information that he needed, few day later he sent me the herbal portion and his medicine was able to restore her back to normal and she is very okay now without any side effects whatsoever.if you are also experiencing this ailment, do not hesitate to contact him on autismepilepsy.blogspot.com for advice and for his product. 69. Hi My name is 'Kristina Barret just want to share my experience with the world on how i got my husband back and saved my marriage... I was married for 7 years with 2 kids we lived happily until things started getting ugly, a point where he filed for divorce... I tried my best to make him change his mind & stay with me cause i loved him so much didn't want to loose him but everything just didn't work out... he moved out of the house and still went ahead to file for divorce... I pleaded and tried everything but still nothing worked. The breakthrough came when someone introduced me to this wonderful, great spell caster who eventually helped me out... I have never been a fan of things like this but just decided to try reluctantly cause I was desperate and left with no choice... He did special prayers and cast a return back spell on him... 48 hours he called me and was sorry for all the emotional trauma he had cost me, moved back to the house and we continue to live happily, the kids are happy too and we are expecting our third child. I have introduced him to a lot of couples with problems across the world and they have had good news... Just thought I should share my experience cause I strongly believe someone out there need's it... You can email him via: (babaalikahealinghome@yahoo.com).

  72. As a sign of gratitude for how my son was cured from autism, i decided to reach out to those still suffering from Autism spectrum. My son suffered autism for 7 years and 4 months, it was really tough and heartbreaking for me because he was my all and the symptoms were terrible, he always have difficulty with communication not verbal, and he always complain of poor eye contact, hurt his self, likes music so much. We tried various therapies prescribed by our neurologist but none could cure him. Not until a day when I searched for a cure online and i saw different testimonies of how people are thanking and praising Dr Alwan who has cured their autistic children and so many others with Fallopian tube blockage, infections and diseases problems, and they all left the email of the doctor who had the cure to autism . I never imagined autism has a natural cure but i have no other choice than to contact Dr Alwan and he assured me my son will be fine and then asked me to purchase his autism herbs which i did. Few days later I got the herbal medication he recommended and also gave me instructions and guild lines on how it used. Behold it was amazing, before 2 weeks time i began to see different changes on my son now is perfectly okay, even up till this moment he is so full of life. Autism has a cure and it is an herbal cure contact the doctor for more info on (alwansolution@yahoo.com) on how to get cured of your autistic child. Thanks for reading my testimony.

  73. Our son was diagnosed with Autistic disorder at age five by a paediatrician and two other specialists in the field. We were devastated but relieved to have a reason for all the difficult symptoms we had experienced since he was born. We prayed for him but saw no immediate change.

We carried on for over three years taking him to therapy appointments and implementing strategies to assist him. We began a very restrictive diet to heal his gut, he improved while on the diet but would experience a massive increase in symptoms if he came off the diet. At times his brain became so overloaded he would scratch at the air, become non verbal and make strange sound effects, during these episodes we were unable to calm him. It was a very stressful time for our family.

In May of 2014 I was so exhausted I was unable to keep up with the demands of keeping the home and caring for our son. Our dishwasher had broken down, it had been two weeks and I still hadn't found time to arrange a service agent. The dishwasher would switch itself on and off at random times and beep through various cycles. One day I was cleaning the kitchen when it began beeping again. I became so overwhelmed I cried out " God could you just heal my dishwasher I can't cope with this" immediately it began working and this continued. Two weeks later I was sharing this miracle with some Christians telling them it made me realise of course nothing is impossible for God. While I was speaking I realised I needed to pray about all the situations in my life that were causing so much distress. While I appreciated all the help we had received from the medical field the only answer for freedom from autism was faith in God. I confessed my fault of putting my faith in the wisdom of man instead of faith in the power of God.

Later I cried out to God, I said "I can't go on, I give up, you said you would never let us go through more than we can bear and I can't bear it any longer, I need you to take all the sickness and stress from our family and particularly autism".

I never told anyone about that prayer but exactly one month later we received an unexpected visit from a friend. He brought with him a couple who offered to pray for our Son.

They prayed with authority like Jesus did, after a short prayer our son exclaimed "my shyness is gone". We had never told him he was autistic, these were his own words to describe the change he felt in himself.

We asked them to pray for his gut as well, they commanded the gut bugs which are thought to be associated with autism to shrivel up and die in the name of Jesus. As we all prayed our son groaned saying my stomach hurts, he sat down, after a few minutes he was feeling better.

He was instantly changed, we immediately stopped the diet, all the symptoms we had been struggling with are gone and have never returned!

Shortly after my Son and I were looking into each other's eyes, we soon started laughing, I felt all the pain, distress and fears from the last seven and a half years being healed by the joy of The Lord, freedom!
